Why do people brag about being on narcotic painkillers like percocet i hate it ive been on them?

i know they make you feel good man but these people that brag about them i know the pleasurable feelings but man ive been on them for months and they make your body feel like **** during the day or when you dont have them everybody thats on these pills think there good there so addicting ive been getting off them and for past 2 weeks been clean and been off them i have been getting some withdrawls i take 2 flexeril and they help me to go to sleep but im telling you painkillers really arent worth it make you feel like ****
