What to do when parents won't support a marriage?

If this guy is going to adhear to his parents decision based upon their belief (and his belief) in astrological birth charts, then he and his family are not as liberal Sikh's as you and your family are. And sorry dear, but the difference is much to much for you to overcome. If he turned his back on his parents and they disowned him, he would blame you for it, forever. The marriage would be doomed from the onset. Not because of astrological birth charts. but because of the guilt that your new husband would place on you. Give it up. You deserve happiness in your life and in your marrieag. Not guilt.
