What skills must a good right fielder have?

I am definitely not the best fielder on the team, and I know the worst fielder is usually in right field, and that is probably me. So, what skills do you need to be a great right fielder. Thanks for any help! Also, if th worst fielder is in right field, then Why does Ichiro Suzuki play right field?
