Is it a bad idea to watch The Aviator with someone who used to have OCD?

It's one of my fav movies, but my dad has never seen it. I want to rent it to watch with him, but it's about someone who develops severe OCD and my dad suffered from OCD as a young man. He doesn't talk about it much- sort of lives in denial of it, but I was wondering if it'd be appropriate or if I'd better not...
