Going to the Strip Club With a Boyfriend?

A few of my gal pals and I decided to go into a strip club just because of the novelty of it. However, my boyfriend and I have a pact that if one of us goes to a strip club (or does something that may be considered shady) the other will go as well as to avoid any misconceptions. I thought I'd be fine with it, but I was very uncomfortable the whole time, and while I know my boyfriend didn't do anything nor did he really even partake in the festivities (he spent a lot of the time trying to make me feel better) I can't shake this bad feeling. I consider myself to be a very open minded person, but I think I've come to realize that no matter how open minded I am there are certain boundaries I have and I believe I crossed one of them. I was not comfortable with naked women all over the place when I had my significant other there. I know he looks at and does things like that and I am perfectly ok with it as I do not have to sit there and watch it (in addition can't give you a lap dance for twenty bucks =p) We've talked about it and decided that it wasn't a very good idea and he's told me that he really has no interest in blowing money at a strip club when he can be spending time with me, and I believe him in that. The problem isn't him but me and my feeling odd about the whole endeavor. Have any other girls gone to the strip club with a boyfriend or spouse? Maybe I will feel a bit better if I can hear some other stories from other women or men who have taken their partner with them to a strip club.
