Blue tinted laptop screen?

My laptop was on when this happened the screen was down when i opened it up there was a tinted red section extened out in a circle (almost like a water ripple) i restarted it but it sayed the same so i shut it down for about a half hour and when i turned it back on it was tinted blue.. the entire screen i have no idea what happened i just got this for a gift the past christmas so idk whats going on i take very good care of this computer so this is a huge shock for me.. it is a dell not exactly sure of the model im going to check the box now and i can updated if that will help i really appricate it if anyone can help since this isnt even a year old computer yet.
